Upcoming Events and Training
21st February 2018 - Funding Forum
5pm, Community Lounge, Caroline Bay, Timaru
We would like to invite you to come along and meet some of our local organisations that give funding to not for profit organisations, clubs, groups and individuals that are looking for financial solutions. This can be funding for a specific project, new sports gear, help for an emergency operation or operational costs. This list goes on. By meeting the people behind the scenes, it provides a face, and makes it more approachable to apply for funding, while giving a better understanding of the requirements.
The forum will include but is not limited to speakers from:
• The Department of Internal Affairs
• South Canterbury Community Trust
• Southern Trust
• Trust Aoraki
• Aoraki Foundation
• Service Groups
This event is open to all people, and there is no charge

We welcome enquiries from volunteers, potential volunteers and volunteer organisations.
We are very keen to get some more volunteers on board to help us:
If you have an accounting background and time to spare, please talk with Lou 03 687 7364 as it would be great to get people an board to help with the review process.
We are also looking for someone who has good people and written skills and would be interested to talk with volunteers to get their stories, as we want to recognize our wonderful volunteers on a regular basis in our newsletters.
Are you interested in databases and keeping the information relevant and up to date, or do you like doing surveys, then call me. Finding the time to follow up with the people who register on our database is difficult for us.
